ABOUT
Situated amidst the green countryside of Montepulciano, the Azienda Agricola Nottola, owned by the Giomarelli family, is today run by Giuliano, one of the sons. The Estate was founded in 1992 at the behest of Cavaliere Anterivo Giomarelli, whose objective since the outset was to produce wines of quality; in order to best fulfill his dream, he entrusted Riccardo Cotarella with the task of taking care of the Estate's wine production. International recognition soon followed with the Estate's Vigna del Fattore and Nobile di Montepulciano, both earning the Estate a reputation as one of the top wine producers in Montepulciano. The Cantina Nottola cellars are located on the twenty five hectare family-run Estate situated in the ancient Vino Nobile Montepulciano wine region.

Passing through the Rodano he took the Roussane and Syrah and from Borgogna the white and grey Pinot.
Coming back home, he tried out the right percentage of tendrils to add to the Trebbiano in order to make the wine more elegant, delicate and scented.
Ever since, the Montecarlo estates began producing wine of high quality, appreciated at national and international level. Montecarlo wines began to be the object of desire on the most important tables, they were present, for expample, during the royal marriage of the Prince Umberto of Savoy and Maria josè. At that time, the wines of Marchi Magnani farm and other producers as Pucci, Carrara, Pardocchi, De Dominicis farms, achieved a lot of recognitions in Italy and abroad.
